Sky Slime is an endless jumping game where you control a slime that must reach as high as possible by bouncing on platforms. The drag mechanic looks simple, but there are techniques that multiply your height.
Drag the slime downward to "charge" the jump and release it to bounce. The key is the drag direction: not just down, but slightly diagonal to control horizontal trajectory. This lets you aim at platforms that aren't directly below you.
The most common mistake is letting the slime fall too far before bouncing. The ideal bounce platform is one you reach with enough speed but still have visibility of the upper platforms. Very low bounces lose sight of where you need to aim.
Colored platforms have different effects: yellow/golden ones give an extra boost, red ones are fragile (they break when stepped on), and green ones oscillate. Plan your route to land on stable ones first and use special ones when you have good positioning.
The best players chain quick bounces without pausing between platforms. Instead of charging maximum drag each time, they use short, precise bounces to maintain vertical momentum. It's like "bounce drumming" — consistency over power.
If you see you're going to land far from a platform, drag quickly in the diagonal direction toward the nearest platform. A quick bounce with correct direction is always better than a perfect bounce in the wrong direction.
