No Modern Warfare 2 Hardened Edition for PC gamers
It’s starting to looks like hardcore PC gamers who wanted to have a slice of the limited edition Modern Warfare 2 pie will have to make do with, well, nothing in terms of any limited edition goodies.
Activision hasn’t flat-out said anything concrete, but there’s nary a PC listing of the Prestige Edition to be found. Even worse, Activision has confirmed that they won’t be offering a Hardened Edition to PC gamers either.
Activision hasn’t explained why they’ve chosen to leave PC gamers out of their special edition marketing blitz. It’s kind of a weird decision too, since the existence of a special edition could stem piracy of the game for a while. Like maybe a day.
